BUT, the Brits may take home the name of ultimate tea drinkers, as the average Brit would drink about 876 cups of tea per year, enough to fill up two bathtubs! But besides iced tea or black tea, there are a lot of different types of tea you can drink, like green or goji tea, with each of them having their pros and cons.

Though black tea may be the most popular, green tea, along with other unique varieties of the drink, is just as beneficial and delicious. Like green tea! Wondering what type of tea was thrown away during the Boston Tea Party, where colonists decided to rally against paying taxes for tea?

I chose these teas based on two factors: It’s taste and benefit. But of course, there are stories that lead up to it before all this list came to be!
As someone who travels and explores the different types of cuisines around the world, tea was especially common as a way to not only cleanse your body from what you just ate but to lessen pain as well. Many of these teas were recommended to me as a way to stay healthy and continue with my journey on food.
But I began gearing towards the wonders of tea as soon as I heard locals describe their love for it!

It all started out with green tea, one of the most familiar types of tea I have known and loved ever since I started drinking the stuff! But while the warmth made me feel close and comfortable, I started exploring new flavors and appreciating the new varieties and methods of brewing a hot (or iced!) cup of tea.

Through traveling and exploring the tea sections of my local supermarket, I found out about the sweet taste of Goji tea, where its slightly tart flavors got me feeling a whole different kind of warmth and fuzziness.
And then I learned about Rose tea, made out of the delicate and beautiful petals from my favorite flower. Through its balanced taste and sweet flowery aroma, it made my list with the best flavor with a wonderful effect. Plus, it’s my favorite out of the six!
But if I want something strong with the similar floral flavor, then I will have to turn to Chrysanthemum for its many stimulating benefits. You get to taste spring in a cup when taking a sip.
While peppermint and spearmint are similar flavors, there is still something about the spearmint tea that makes me feel like a cool summer night during the warm days. But with peppermint, it has the minty aftertaste to keep you energized, a whole different twang from the usual bitter teas people drink.

I love green tea as you can easily find it in the market today, either using it in drinks or infusing the powder in dishes.
